LABA7 Founder Andrius Liškus Named Gen-III Innovator of the Year

The Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) has named Andrius Liškus, founder of LABA7, as the 2025 Gen-III Innovator of the Year. The award honors young entrepreneurs under 40 who drive innovation, technology, and progress within the automotive industry.

“When we started LABA7 in a humble workshop with no outside funding, I never imagined standing here. Let alone receiving this award. It validates every late night, every experiment, and every problem we had to solve ourselves. This recognition reminds us that persistence, curiosity, and honest work still matter,” said Andrius Liškus, founder and CEO of LABA7.

For LABA7, an independent company based in Lithuania, the recognition marks a milestone. Competing with long-established manufacturers, the team designs and assembles its systems entirely in-house: mechanical design, electronics, firmware, and software.

Liškus focuses on developing equipment that makes advanced testing more accessible and practical. Under his direction, LABA7 has introduced a range of systems, each designed to simplify complex tasks with precision – from shock dynamometers and spring testers to vacuum bleed pumps and racing scales.

The Electromagnetic Damper Test System (EMA) is one example of that approach. By combining high performance with low power requirements, it enables laboratory-grade testing in standard and remote workshops. The same principle applies to LABA7’s entire product line – allowing professionals to focus on data and their goals.

LABA7 equipment is in service with vehicle and suspension component manufacturers, as well as top-tier motorsport teams, supporting R&D programs and trackside verification. Systems are deployed in Europe, the USA, and other regions and are often selected for reliability, fair pricing, and direct technical support.

For 2026, LABA7 aims to expand adoption into even higher tiers of motorsport while extending its product range. The goal remains the same: to make high-quality and accessible testing equipment for all tiers of the automotive industry.
