Interview with Andrius Liškus, Founder and CEO of LABA7

We founded LABA7 three and a half to four years ago.
First, we were producing test stands for shock absorbers, but we quickly added more and more tools and devices to the lineup. One of them is scales to measure the weight balance of a car. I don't know how to call it in Lithuanian, but in English, it is called car corner scales.
These scales are necessary to tune the center of weight of a car so that during a jump the car does not lean forward or sideways, or simply so that the front does not rise. Failure to achieve perfect weight balance, especially in circuit races, can have very dire consequences when the car becomes out of control. So, we came up with the idea to make these scales.
Like all our products, we tried to make them better, and more extraordinary. All the scales on the market do not look beautiful. They have no design. So, we decided to make ours unique.
In addition, we eliminated the need for cables and proprietary devices to connect the scales. That is how we use fewer materials than our competitors and our scales are much more environmentally friendly. We also developed various accessories to further improve the measurement results.
All our customers are very happy that they measure very accurately and most importantly, they are very easy to use. And what's more, they look very nice.
The race car scales themselves are also very accurate. Unlike our competitors, we use four sensors per scale pad. This means that it makes no difference where the wheel is placed - scales will still show the identical weight. Whether it is a wheel placed through the center or placed in a corner - no difference.

As our customers say, and we didn’t come up with it ourselves, the scales not only perform perfectly but also decorate the workshop.
